Position Purpose: We’re seeking passionate dog lovers with a flair for customer service to join Pure Pawsh, our newly established venture in the heart of North Park, San Diego. We value reliability, experience, and a dedication to customer satisfaction, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Minimum qualifications: Customer service experience required. Must be comfortable working with all size dog breeds. Pet store and doggy daycare experience preferred.

Job responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with dogs in our Doggy Daycare facility.
• Lead play sessions and take dogs for walks during scheduled hours.
• Provide regular photo and text updates to pet parents.
• Utilize positive reinforcement techniques to address any unwanted behaviors.
• Maintain cleanliness by performing various cleaning tasks such as laundry, mopping, and sanitizing dog-play areas.
• Ensure a hygienic environment by promptly cleaning up dog waste and performing spot cleaning.
• Handle phone inquiries and assist with appointment scheduling.
• Aid customers with queries about our services, events, and retail offerings.
• Support event coordination by assisting with setup, sending email announcements, and managing administrative tasks.
• Process customer transactions and replenish retail displays.
• Assist with updates to our social media channels.
• Undertake any additional duties as required.

Job Type: Part-time with potential for full-time transition based on performance. Weekend availability preferred.

• Manage phone inquiries and appointment scheduling.
• Assist customers with self-service bathing options.
• Process customer transactions and provide assistance as needed.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
